The Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) softball routed the host Pasadena Bulldogs (Pasadena, CA), 14-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (16-4) will now prepare for their bout against Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Lancers go into the East Valley bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Grant was routed by Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA), 13-1, in a league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 0-11 record. They play next when they host Muir for a Pacific bout on Wednesday, April 17. Pasadena will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-10.
