California High School Softball - St. Paul nudges Chino

The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) and the host Chino Cowboys (Chino, CA), saw St. Paul's softball squad nip Chino by a count of 8-7.
The Swordsmen now sport a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they host Mary Star of the Sea for a Del Rey match on Monday, April 15. St. Paul will face a Stars squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Stars record now stands at 6-11.
With the loss, Chino falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Glendora (Glendora, CA) to face the Tartans in a non-league match on Monday, April 15. The Tartans enter the match with a record of 6-12. Glendora lost 14-2 in their recent league match against Ayala (Chino Hills, CA)
