The Coalers now sport a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilmington for a Illinois Central Eight match on Monday, April 15. Coal City will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-5 league loss to Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Marshall falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, April 13. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 5-5. Camp Point Central lost 6-5 in their recent non-league match against Macomb (Macomb, IL)
