Washington High School Softball - Freeman bounces Nooksack Valley

The Freeman Scotties routed the visiting Nooksack Valley Pioneers softball squad by a count of 7-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Scotties (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cedar Park Christian (Bothell, WA). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Cedar Park Christian nudged Sultan (Sultan, WA), 15-3, in a league battle.
The Pioneers now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to College Place for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 13. Nooksack Valley will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Wahluke (Mattawa, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
