Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV), 25-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chapmanville Regional for a non-league match on Saturday, April 13. Greenbrier East will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hoover (Clendenin, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Wyoming East moves to 0-2 on the season. The Warriors host Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV) to face the Flying Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, April 15. The Flying Eagles go into the match with a record of 10-4. Woodrow Wilson lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Bluefield (Bluefield, WV)
