The Sterling Golden Warriors softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Harvard Hornets to 2 in the Golden Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Sterling moves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Golden Warriors host Geneseo (Geneseo, IL) to clash with the Maple Leafs in a Western Big 6 game on Tuesday, April 16. The Maple Leafs come into the game with a record of 8-6. Geneseo lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL)

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 15. Harvard will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 1-8 record after their 18-1 non-league loss to McHenry (McHenry, IL).
