The Hazleton Area Cougars softball team (Hazleton, PA), was routed 9-5 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA)

Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Salisbury Township Falcons (Allentown, PA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 17. Palisades will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA).

The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA). The Comets come into the Wyoming Valley 2 test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Crestwood was routed by Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA), 7-2, in a non-league test.
