Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Ste. Genevieve Dragons (Ste. Genevieve, MO) and the host Kennett Indians (Kennett, MO), witnessed Ste. Genevieve's softball squad tip Kennett by a count of 4-3.

The Dragons now sport a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Grandview for a Class 2 District 3 match on Wednesday, April 24.

With the loss, Kennett moves to 14-5 on the season. The Indians host East Prairie (East Prairie, MO) to meet the Eagles in a Class 2 District 1 match on Tuesday, April 16. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 6-5.
