Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Orchard Park Quakers (Orchard Park, NY), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Plainsmen now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schenectady for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Monday, April 15.

With the loss, Orchard Park falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Quakers host Lancaster (Lancaster, NY) to battle the Legends in a Section 6 Erie County I challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Legends enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
