Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Payson Lions (Payson, UT), 14-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. Pleasant Grove will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 12-6 league win over Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT). The Red Devils record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Payson falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Carbon (Price, UT) to battle the Dinos in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Dinos enter the challenge with a record of 9-6. Carbon lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT)
