The Tolono Unity Rockets routed the visiting Quincy Notre Dame Raiders softball squad by a final score of 10-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Rockets (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Saints go into the Illini Prairie bout with a 8-12 record. In their last bout, Bloomington Central Catholic was routed by Normal University (Normal, IL), 14-0, in a non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Teutopolis for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 13. Quincy Notre Dame will confront a Wooden Shoes squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL). The Wooden Shoes record now stands at 11-7.
