The crowd at Sunday's non-league battle between the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) and the host Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA), saw Bishop McCort's baseball team gain a win over Conemaugh Township by a tally of 7-5.

The Crushers (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Red Devils enter the Laurel Highlands West battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Central Cambria held off Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA), 8-4, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Conemaugh Township drops to 4-2 on the year. The Indians travel to Penns Manor (Clymer, PA) to clash with the Comets in a Heritage challenge on Monday, April 14. The Comets go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Penns Manor lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA)
