Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) supporters left the game pleased Sunday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Rome Free Academy Black Knights (Rome, NY), 5-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Shenendehowa improves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Plainsmen host Chatham (Chatham, NY) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Sunday, April 13. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 2-0.
The Black Knights now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Guilderland for a non-league game on Sunday, April 13. Rome Free Academy will play a Flying Dutchmen squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Columbia (East Greenbush, NY). The Flying Dutchmen record now stands at 1-1.
