The Mabel-Canton Cougars (Mabel, MN) baseball got by the visiting Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons (Wabasha, MN), 6-5 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southland for a Southeast challenge on Tuesday, April 14. Mabel-Canton will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Wabasha-Kellogg drops to 0-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN) to clash with the Trojans in a Three Rivers challenge on Tuesday, April 14. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Rushford-Peterson lost 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Cotter (Winona, MN)
