Virginia High School Baseball - Warhill wallops Peninsula Catholic

April 13, 2026: Williamsburg, VA 23188

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) and the visiting Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA), saw Warhill's baseball team beat Peninsula Catholic by a margin of 11-1.

The Lions (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA). The Bull Islanders enter the Bay Rivers battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Poquoson defeated Gloucester (Gloucester, VA), 7-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Knights face the Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA) in a Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools battle, on Thursday, April 16. Peninsula Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 7-8 record after their 5-0 league win over Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA).
