Ohio High School Baseball - Springfield defeats Salem

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) and the host Salem Quakers (Salem, OH), saw Springfield's baseball team beat Salem by a margin of 8-3.

The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Cardinal Mooney held off Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
