The Rising Sun Tigers lacrosse squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Perryville Panthers to 12 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fallston for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 14. Rising Sun will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Bel Air (Bel Air, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Perryville falls to 2-4 on the year. The Panthers host North East (North East, MD) to clash with the Indians in a Cecil County challenge on Thursday, April 16. The Indians come into the game with a record of 3-3.
