Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Washington for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 17. Silver Creek will battle a Senators squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Springs Valley (French Lick, IN). The Senators record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Jennings County falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Greensburg (Greensburg, IN) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 15. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Greensburg won 11-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Columbus East (Columbus, IN)
