In Thursday's non-league game, the host Cimarron Bluejays baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Spearville Lancers.
The Bluejays (7-0) will now prepare for their game against Scott (Scott City, KS). The Beavers go into the non-league game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Scott tipped Colby (Colby, KS), 10-7, in a league game.
The Lancers (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Bucklin (Bucklin, KS). The Red Aces go into the Southern Plains-Iroquois game with a 8-1 record.
