In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Washington Patriots baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Clear Spring Blazers.
The Patriots (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 0-9 record. In their last game, Waccamaw was edged by Georgetown (Georgetown, SC), 10-2, in a league game.
The Blazers (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Goretti (Hagerstown, MD). The Gael go into the game with a 11-2 record.
