Arizona High School Baseball - Saguaro gets by Shadow Mountain

Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) and the host Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ), saw Saguaro's baseball squad knock off Shadow Mountain by a count of 5-3.

Coming up next, the Sabercats play the Marcos de Niza Padres (Tempe, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky battle, on Monday, April 18. Saguaro will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record. The Padres enter the battle with a 8-13 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Prescott (Prescott, AZ).

The Matadors now possess a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they host Moon Valley for a 4A Skyline match on Friday, April 15. Shadow Mountain will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Rockets record now stands at 4-7.
