The Wakefield Wolverines baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Sanderson Spartans to 2 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wolverines (10-5) will now prepare for their match against East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 7-7 record. In their last match, East Wake ran past Enloe (Raleigh, NC), 11-0, in a non-league match.
The Spartans (2-10) will now prepare for their match against Enloe (Raleigh, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 3-10 record. In their last match, Enloe was overwhelmed by East Wake (Wendell, NC), 11-0, in a non-league match.
