The Alcoa Tornadoes lacrosse team scored 6 points and held the host Sevier County Smoky Bears to 3 in the Tornadoes league win on Thursday.
The Tornadoes (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Christian Academy of Knoxville (Knoxville, TN). The Warriors go into the TN East 1 AA match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Christian Academy of Knoxville nudged William Blount (Maryville, TN), 13-7, in a league match.
The Smoky Bears (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Ooltewah (Ooltewah, TN). The Owls go into the non-league match with a 5-8 record.
