The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bishop's Knights (La Jolla, CA) and the host Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), saw Bishop's's lacrosse team overcome Helix by a margin of 17-10.

The Knights (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA). The Firebirds enter the Coastal challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Del Lago Academy was overwhelmed by Francis Parker (San Diego, CA), 23-1, in a league challenge.

The Highlanders (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers enter the Grossmont challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Grossmont edged San Diego (San Diego, CA), 10-9, in a non-league challenge.
