Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles confront the Arapahoe Warriors (Centennial, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 16. Mountain Vista will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO).
The Sabercats now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaparral for a 5A Continental challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Castle View will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-6.
