In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Dunlap Eagles soccer squad scored a close 4-2 win over the Geneseo Maple Leafs.
The Eagles (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Sycamore (Sycamore, IL). The Spartans go into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Sycamore nipped Plano (Plano, IL), 4-0, in a league battle.
The Maple Leafs (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Quincy (Quincy, IL). The Blue Devils go into the Western Big 6 battle with a 6-3 record.
