In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA) baseball squad triumphed over the host Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA), by a final score of 16-7.

With the win, Central Valley upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Warriors host Riverside (Ellwood City, PA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, April 21. The Panthers enter the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Vikings face the Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 16. Hopewell will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
