In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Mount Vernon Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Sehome Mariners.
The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Oak Harbor tipped Bellingham (Bellingham, WA), 12-2, in a non-league game.
