In Thursday's non-league contest, the Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) lacrosse squad the visiting University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH), by a count of 6-3.

Coming up next, the Shoremen confront the Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 23. Avon Lake will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record.

The Preppers now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Chagrin Falls for a Region 6 contest on Tuesday, April 19. University School will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 15-14 non-league loss to Hoover (North Canton, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
