The St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish lacrosse team scored 9 points and held the visiting Cardinal Mooney Cardinals to 7 in the Fighting Irish non-league win on Thursday.
The Fighting Irish (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 6-4 record.
The Cardinals (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Boardman (Youngstown, OH). The Spartans go into the Region 2 game with a 3-5 record.
