Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL), 15-2 in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Forest for a non-league battle on Monday, April 18. Lakes will clash with a Scouts squad coming off a 10-9 non-league win over York (Elmhurst, IL). The Scouts record now stands at 5-1.

In their next game, the Giants clash with the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) in a Central Suburban battle, on Tuesday, April 19. Highland Park will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Trevians come into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 11-1 league win over Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL).
