In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Pinson Valley Indians soccer squad scored a close 5-0 win over the Fultondale Wildcats.
The Indians (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL). The Cougars go into the 6A Area 12 battle with a 1-9 record.
The Wildcats (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against McAdory (McCalla, AL). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, McAdory nipped Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
