The Bluffton Pirates (Bluffton, OH) softball nipped the host Ada Bulldogs (Ada, OH), 10-9 in Thursday's league bout.
The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Miller City (Miller City, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Miller City held off Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgemont for a non-league bout on Friday, April 15.
