Arizona High School Softball - Kellis can't hold off Agua Fria

The Agua Fria Owls softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Kellis Cougars to 9 in the Owls non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Agua Fria improves its record to 6-14 on the year. The Owls travel to Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ) to clash with the Knights in a 5A Desert West game on Friday, April 15. The Knights come into the game with a record of 20-3. Lake Havasu won 16-4 in their recent league game against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ)
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) in a 5A Northwest game, on Tuesday, April 19. Kellis will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 12-7 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ).
