Archie Whirlwinds (Archie, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Kingsville Tigers (Kingsville, MO), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Whirlwinds now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberal for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Archie will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Northeast (Arma, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Kingsville falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Santa Fe (Alma, MO) to battle the Chiefs in a District 16 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
