Arlington Eagles (Arlington, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lynnwood Royals (Bothell, WA), 16-9 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Snohomish for a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Arlington will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Lynnwood falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Shorewood (Shoreline, WA) to battle the Thunderbirds in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. Shorewood lost 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA)
