California High School Softball - Point Loma bounces Auburn Riverside

April 14, 2022: San Diego, CA 92106

The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Auburn Riverside Ravens (Auburn, WA), saw Point Loma's softball squad nip Auburn Riverside by a count of 11-7.

The Pointers now sport a 5-15 record. They take the field next when they host Clairemont for a City Eastern match on Friday, April 15. Point Loma will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Auburn Riverside falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to Coronado (Coronado, CA) to face the Islanders in a non-league match on Saturday, April 16. The Islanders enter the match with a record of 6-10. Coronado won 13-8 in their recent league match against Morse (San Diego, CA)
