The Brimfield Indians softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs to 2 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Brimfield moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Indians travel to Stark County (Toulon, IL) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Monday, April 18. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 1-10. Stark County lost 5-1 in their recent league game against Knoxville (Knoxville, IL)

In their next game, the Chiefs clash with the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) in a Heart of Illinois game, on Friday, April 15. Deer Creek-Mackinaw will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Hall (Spring Valley, IL).
