Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hersey for a Mid-Suburban East challenge on Monday, April 18. Prospect will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 23-13 non-league win over Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Conant falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Stevenson lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL)
