In Thursday's non-league contest, the Fort Recovery Indians (Fort Recovery, OH) softball team held off the host Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, Fort Recovery moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH) to play the Redskins in a non-league contest on Monday, April 18.
