McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Rams now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host La Plata for a Southern Maryland challenge on Monday, April 25.

With the loss, Stone falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to battle the Cavaliers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 9-1. Calvert won 16-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Severna Park (Severna Park, MD)
