Randall Raiders (Amarillo, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX), 8-4 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tascosa for a 5A Region I District 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Randall will face a Rebels squad coming off a 22-1 league win over Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 12-17.

With the loss, Plainview falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Caprock (Amarillo, TX) to face the Longhorns in a 5A Region I District 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Caprock lost 8-3 in their recent league challenge against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX)
