The Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) baseball trounced the host Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), 23-1 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Purple Riders play the Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos (Cerro Gordo, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie contest, on Monday, April 17. Arcola will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Broncos enter the contest with a 4-5 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL).

The Knights now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Decatur Lutheran for a Lincoln Prairie contest on Wednesday, April 19.
