The Hayfield Vikings baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms to 1 in the Vikings non-league victory on Friday.

The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record.

The Awesome Blossoms (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Waseca (Waseca, MN). The Bluejays go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Waseca ran past Medford (Medford, MN), 17-0, in a non-league match.
