The Chelmsford Lions crushed the visiting Lowell Red Raiders baseball team by a count of 9-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boston College High for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 15. Chelmsford will face a Eagles team coming off a 15-1 league win over Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.

Next, the Red Raiders face the Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 18. Lowell will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Middies enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to North Andover (North Andover, MA).
