Connecticut High School Baseball - Portland loses to North Branford

The North Branford Thunderbirds crushed the visiting Portland Highlanders baseball team by a count of 16-4 in Friday's league bout.

The Thunderbirds now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Haven for a non-league bout on Monday, April 17. North Branford will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 6-5 league win over Foran (Milford, CT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-2.

Next, the Highlanders face the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 18. Portland will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
