In Friday's non-league challenge, the South Range Raiders (Canfield, OH) baseball squad edged the host Walsingham Academy Trojans (Williamsburg, VA), by a final score of 7-6.
With the win, South Range upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Poland Seminary (Poland, OH) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Northeast Eight Athletic challenge on Monday, April 17. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Poland Seminary lost 11-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Shenango (New Castle, PA)
With the defeat, Walsingham Academy falls to 9-7 on the season. The Trojans host Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH) to encounter the Shoremen in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. The Shoremen come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
