The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), saw Mt. Carmel's volleyball squad nip Grossmont by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Mt. Carmel upgrades its record to 10-19 on the year. The Sundevils travel to Helix (La Mesa, CA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Friday, April 14. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 19-6. Helix won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Hills (Santee, CA)

The Foothillers now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop's for a non-league bout on Friday, April 14. Grossmont will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA). The Knights record now stands at 15-5.
