The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Malibu Sharks (Malibu, CA), saw Venice's volleyball squad nip Malibu by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Venice upgrades its record to 17-11 on the year. The Gondoliers travel to Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Friday, April 14. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Harvard-Westlake won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Chaminade (West Hills, CA)

The Sharks now own a 5-19 record. They play next when they travel to Marshall for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 15. Malibu will play a Barristers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV). The Barristers record now stands at 19-12.
