The Saddleback Roadrunners held off the visiting Montebello Oilers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league test.

The Roadrunners now have a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Costa Mesa for a Orange Coast test on Monday, April 17. Saddleback will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-9.

The Oilers (5-26) will now prepare for their test against San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA). The Matadors enter the Almont challenge with a 20-4 record. In their last challenge, San Gabriel nipped Polytechnic (Pasadena, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
